1. About Adventure Trails

Adventure Trails provides self-guided walking and driving adventure trails designed to be completed independently by families. Trails are available as digital access and/or printed booklets. All Adventure Trails are self-guided. We do not provide in-person guides, supervision, or live support during trails. Occasionally, we may run in-person experiences, but these are specifically indicated.

2. Use of Adventure Trails

By purchasing or using an Adventure Trail, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Trails are completed independently and at your own pace

• You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of anyone in your group

• Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times

• You must follow local laws, signage, and access restrictions

• Adventure Trails is not responsible for changes to locations, access, or conditions beyond our control

3. Outdoor activity & responsibility

Adventure Trails take place in real locations, including streets, public spaces, and historic areas.

By taking part, you accept that:

• Outdoor environments carry inherent risks

• Conditions may vary due to weather, construction, events, or local changes

• You are responsible for assessing whether a trail is suitable for your group

We recommend wearing appropriate clothing and footwear and exercising normal care and awareness at all times.

4. Accessibility

Our trails explore real locations, which means accessibility can vary. We aim to design trails that are as inclusive as possible and, where feasible, provide alternative routes between clues. Trail descriptions should be reviewed before purchase to ensure suitability.

5. Digital access & QR content

Our Adventure Trails include QR codes linking to online trail pages that provide additional information, hints, and optional clue reveals.

• These pages are designed to support your experience, not replace the main trail

• Using hints or reveals is optional

• Access requires an internet connection

We are not responsible for interruptions caused by poor connectivity or device issues.

6. Physical products

If you purchase a physical trail booklet:

• Products are shipped from the UK

• Delivery times vary by destination

• Shipping costs and options are shown at checkout

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or factors outside our control.

7. Refunds & cancellations

Digital products - Due to the nature of digital access, digital Adventure Trails are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, unless faulty.

Physical products - If you receive a faulty or damaged physical product, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe so we can resolve the issue.

8. Intellectual property

All Adventure Trails content, including text, puzzles, designs, illustrations, and digital materials, remains the intellectual property of Adventure Trails.

You may:

• Use purchased trails for personal, non-commercial use only

You may not:

• Copy, share, resell, or distribute trail content

• Upload content to public platforms

• Reproduce trails for commercial use

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Adventure Trails is not liable for injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from participation in a trail

• Participation is entirely at your own risk

• Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so

10. Availability and accuracy of Adventure Trails

Because our trails take place in real locations, some features may occasionally be under construction or temporarily inaccessible. If this happens, the QR-linked trail pages include images and information to help you solve the clue and continue without disruption.

11. International customers

Adventure Trails is based in the UK but sells worldwide. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you access or purchase from outside the UK, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

12. Changes to Trails and website

We reserve the right to:

• Update or modify trails

• Make improvements or corrections

• Change website content, pricing, or availability

This will not affect existing purchases unless necessary for legal or safety reasons.
